Do You Read Science Fiction?

Before we can create the future, we must imagine it. That’s why I’ve spent most of time over the last three years writing science fiction where underdog characters fight overwhelming forces to forge a better future for themselves. Do you enjoy reading science fiction? Do you like stories with libertarian themes? Do you like strong, moral characters fighting for the right thing?

Lando Cruz and the Coup Conspiracy

Lando is a political sci-fi thriller set in a near future where an agorist resistance is making headway.

Lando Cruz The United States is in slow-motion economic collapse. The Three Strikes Act funnels the unemployed masses into a national network of work camps for the most trivial of infractions.

Lando Cruz is a scrappy rebel who risks his final strike on the streets of Philadelphia by trading illegal currencies under cover of a burrito stand. He spends his days bribing dirty cops, fending off undercover federal agents and shepherding his little sister through adolescence.

Lando is getting by until beat cops seize his savings and kidnap his sister for ransom. He has thirty days to raise the hard cash he needs to free her before she is sold into sex slavery. His only chance is a lucrative job offer from the black market rebellion’s paramilitary startup, the Core. He risks both his life and his principles to get his sister back before time runs out.

Defiant, She Advanced

Defiant is the first libertarian science fiction anthology in a decade with contributions from both veteran authors and emerging talents. Liberty.me members can get it free through December 7th.

Defiant She Advanced From the Imperium-controlled aetherlanes to a tech noir restitution agency in the Free Zone and from a steampunk, 1894 China with clockwork automatons to a post-1984 Orwellian dystopia with mandatory goodpharm, here are ten science fiction stories of defiance and daring.

Split evenly between strong female and male leads, these heroes fight losing battles on principle alone, discover lies hidden deep inside themselves, execute daring rescues and fight for love and liberty in a society where human dignity is cheaper than obsolete swarmbots.

These original, never-before-published works are from veteran authors, including William F. Wu, as well as emerging talents.

Forthcoming

Also forthcoming is a space opera series about an agorist space pirate. Rork Sollix fights not just the overbearing Earth Government but also a cartel run by a harem-keeping madman as he attempts to defend the independent mining colonies and markets that are subsisting across the solar system.

Rise the Renegade is the first book and should be out by late December 2015. After that, I’ll be releasing additional full-length novels in the series every month or two.

Project B is a technothriller I’ve been working on in collaboration with Jake Antares since 2013. It should be out, finally, in 2016.
