The minutes for the September LNC meeting state:
LP member George Donnelly put together a list of Libertarian candidates as noted on various state websites which has proven to be quite useful.
This has generated some controversy, so I’d like to clarify exactly what happened.
After I noticed Paulie Cannoli had put together a list of LP candidates and became aware that some people were upset about lp.org not listing all the candidates, I decided to put together the Libertarian Party Candidates website.
I did my own independent research, which consisted of visiting LP state affiliate websites, and compared the results of that against not only Paul’s list but also the one on lp.org.
So, Paul’s list was not only the inspiration for the Libertarian Party Candidates website, but it also served as an important part of my research.
I hope this clears up any misunderstandings that might have existed.
